Being creative with help from my friends!

My friend, Rose, came up with these cute Easter card ideas.  They are so much fun to make.  The bunny card has thread whiskers, and the egg has rick rack.
My friend, Kathy, gave me some fabric sample books that I took apart to make this supper simple table runner and coasters for my coffee table.
My friend, Sue, gave me some flower fabric scraps that I used to make this table topper for my kitchen table.

Quilting Shop Hop-Bus Trip

Six friends and I, went on a quilt shop hop bus trip, Saturday, March 5th. We meet at 6:00 am for breakfest at my house.
First stop was "Quilting by the Hearth" in Lonsdale, MN.
They did a great demo for make flying geese.  Yes, I bought the ruler!
I'm not sure what Trudy has in that package.  I did see what she bought.
Next stop Quilter's Dream in Montgomery, MN.
Last town was Mankato.  We went to two shops, Firefly Quilt Shop and River City Quilts.
Here's to the Quilting Queens!  Happy Quilting!

Christmas Quilt

Here is the quilt I made for our nephew, who lives in the Twin Cities.  He just loves to watch the trucks remove the snow from the parking lots. He is 19 months and can watch them through the window for hours. My husband farms and he thinks it is cute that our nephew calls all road construction equipment tractors.

Rabbits

I'm not a big fan of rabbits either. I know that that they are cute and all, but they do a number to my flowerbeds. I just have too many. They love to eat my beautiful flowers, just when they start to look nice.
...but Easter is coming and I just finished a wool table runner. I just love this designer and I have done a few of her beautiful designs. This design is from Brandywine Designs. It is from the book "Bless the Beasts and the Children" and the pattern is called Rabbit Chase Penny Runner. You can check out more of her patterns here.
