My flower beds are under a quilt of snow, so I am learning about birds. I believe this is a male dark-eyed junco. Please correct me if I am wrong.With this new interest of mine comes a few problems. 1st one is these beautiful birds are hard to photograph, because it is dark when I leave for work and dark when I get home. 2nd problem is these cold temps. I received a heated birdbath for Christmas and it has been freezing up solid.
